About Us
Who we are
INTERCEDE is a non-profit, faith-based organization established to help provide opportunities to individuals and communities that will aid in their growth and well-being. In essence, we're about giving hope through education.
What we do
Meet Duncan Ziro, a goat herder from the dusty rural bush of Kenya where many people live off of a dollar a day (right). In 2002, Duncan was fortunate enough to receive an invitation to attend one of the country's few universities. When the invitation arrived, there was much rejoicing in the village, though it was clear that a lack of finances was standing in his way. Thankfully, INTERCEDE, with the help of people like you, was able to make it possible for Duncan to achieve his wildest dreams.
Today, INTERCEDE continues to provide such opportunities for others, including John Chengo (left) who in 2013 finished his Bachelor's in Laboratory Technology and is now working on a Master’s degree.
We want more success stories like Duncan and John!

Why we do it
INTERCEDE is motivated by love for our fellow man and the desire to see the world in which we live become a better place. We truly believe that by providing educational opportunities to poor communities we can and will make a positive difference in the spiritual, social, and economic lives of thousands of people, particularly youth.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." Proverbs 31:8-9
